F150 short bed 4x4, with the desirable, and hard to find 300 six cylinder.
This 4x4 is from southern Oregon, and still features most of its original
paint, and is 99.9 % rustfree. It has some surface rust on the floor
where the rubber mat was, and a few minor pin holes from trapped moisture.
Other than that the floors are sturdy and rock solid, as is the rest of the
body. As for the body, it is quite straight, with only minor dents,
and dings. Even the bed floor, and upper bed rails are straight.
This is a nice basic 4x4 with the 300 six cylinder, 4 speed, power steering,
and power disc brakes. It also has the bullet proof 205 transfer case,
and the Dana 44 front axle. It has a drivable 3.50 axle ration, and
rides on new 33x12.5x15 tires. Also, the engine has a noise in it.
The noise goes away some times. I have driven this truck a couple
hundred miles and the noise hasn't gotten any worse. I have only had a
couple 6 cylinder trucks and they have all made this noise. I would
just drive it and not worry about it. This
is a nice
basic economical 4x4, that is fun to drive. I would hop in and drive
it anywhere.
