1978 F250 3/4 ton 4x4 "Ranger" Trim & heavy duty "Trailering Special"  towing package.

1978 F250 4x4 with the fancy Ranger trim package.  It also has the heavy duty "Trailering Special"  package is primarily a heavy duty suspension package.  It includes front and rear anti sway bars, heavier springs resulting in a higher 8100# GVW rating, extra fluid coolers, and the big "Desert Cooler" radiator.  The Ranger package adds styling and fancier trim.  It is an absolutely excellent running and driving 4x4.  She is clean and unmolested, with only 93,663 miles on her.  It even still has the original spare tire, the original AM radio that sill works.  It has a strong, smooth running 400 engine.  We installed a rebuilt C6 automatic and a new torque converter.  Other options include A/C, power steering, power disc brakes, Bed side tool box, Cruise control, dual fuel tanks, etc.  It has the high pinion Dana 44 front axle, the bullet proof NP205 transfercase, and a Dana 60 rear with conservative 3.54 gears.  The body looks to be rustfree, is straight, and the paint looks very nice.  It also has a professional spay in bed liner.  This Ranger runs, drives, and looks great.
