Hard to find
and desirable 1979 Bronco 4x4, with the very rare and sought after
factory 4 speed.
This Bronco is 99.9% RUSTFREE from the west coast. It is fully
loaded and has most every option offered in 1979, yet is a
"Custom" model. It has
a strong 351, with an Edlebrock intake an 4 bbl carb. It has the
high back reclining Buckets / console, factory roll bar, rare sliding
side windows, power rear window, A/C, Sport Steering wheel, Tilt, PS,
PDB, etc. It also has the factory quad front shocks. They
really make the Bronco drive nice. I have receipts for over $3000
spent on it in 2012 (see pics below). It has new 33/12.5/15 tires ($974), rebuilt
front suspension / Steering / brakes / driveline ($2100). It also has new
nice sounding FlowMaster dual exhaust.
This Bronco is one
of the most solid I have had, but it got mud packed into the left rear
in front of the bumper and
caused that rust hole. Other than that it has some surface rust on
the rear wheel arch, but just surface, and I touched it up to protect
the metal (see pics).
The interior is
actually pretty nice also. The front seats sit nice, and the cloth
inserts are nice. It just needs a couple new black vinyl panels
where ones butt slides getting in and out. The dash pad is nice as
is the very rare factory sport steering wheel.
Bottom line this
is a neat rare Bronco. It is one of the best driving and most fun
to drive Bronco's I have ever had. The seats feel perfect, and it
is fun to shift through the gears.
