For my faithful followers, don't get
upset. I just took a little venture into the 80's. Before you
scoff, this a very nice rare and desirable, heavy duty 1986 Ford F350 1ton
4x4 regular cab. This 4x4 is a clean, rustfree, and pretty straight from California. It
is claimed to only have just over 70k miles, and the title says actual miles
on it.
This truck has all the desirable heavy
duty parts, including the straight axle Dana 60 front end, and the
Sterling 10.25 limited
slip rear axle with 4.10 gears. Other options include: strong 460,
nice shifting 4 speed with a smooth clutch, A/C, PS, PDB, dual tanks, 4:10 Limited slip rear,
new Pioneer CD radio, etc. This is a well optioned, but simple heavy duty
4x4.
The title is labeled Salvaged due to
belonging to the California government. When a municipality takes a
vehicle out of service and sells it they label it Salvaged to avoid any type
of recourse from a future owner. I have owned several government owned
4x4's and they have all had that label on the title. This truck has no
signs of major body damage.
The interior is clean and simple.
The brakes and suspension are sound. This is a cool one of a kind F350 4x4.
