I have been having more and more
requests for newer Fords, and they have been selling well. I went
looking for another, here is what I came up with.
1988 F250 SuperCab, with
Top-of-the-Line Lariat trim. These are desirable hard to find trucks.
This one has been one family owned, and is claimed to only have 96k miles.
It runs and drives excellent. The body is very straight, and
is an original paint, 100% rustfree western survivor from California.
As mentioned this is a fully loaded
Lariat, and features a strong fuel injected 460, nice shifting automatic,
Cold A/C, PW, PDL, Tilt, Cruise, Dana 55 front, limited slip Sterling
rear with desirable 4.10 gears, dual tanks, etc. This truck hasn't
been a beat work truck, it is very straight in every regard. It drives excellent. The
brakes and suspension are all sound. It has a new FlowMaster muffler
into new dual tailpipes. I have personally driven the truck over 100
miles, and used the 4x4
system and it works fine. The bucked seat interior is clean
and hasn't been smoked in. It also has a nice sounding new JVC CD
player with remote control in it. We also installed a new headliner.
Also, this is the heavy duty model with
the big Dana 55 front axle, and the beefy Sterling rear. However, it
rides smooth, and is a nice driving truck. I would put a load behind it and drive it anywhere
period.
Bottom line, these nice ones are tough to find,
and with the low miles this truck will last a long time. |
