I have been having more and more
requests for newer Fords, and they have been selling well. I went
looking for another, here is what I came up with.
1989 F250 SuperCab, with
Top-of-the-Line Lariat trim. These are desirable hard to find trucks.
This one has only had two adult owners, and is claimed to only have 82k
miles. It runs and drives excellent. The body is pretty straight, and
is an original paint, 100% rustfree western survivor from Nevada.
The tailgate was damaged, so we put a nice straight rustfree western
tailgate on it.
As mentioned this is a fully loaded
Lariat, and features a strong fuel injected 460, nice shifting automatic, A/C, PW, PDL, Tilt, Cruise, Dana 55 front, Sterling
rear with desirable 4.10 gears, dual tanks, etc. This truck hasn't
been a beat work truck but does have a few dings, scrapes, and chips, plus
some sun fading on the hood and roof. It drives excellent. The
brakes and suspension are all sound. I have personally used the 4x4
system and it works fine. The bucked seat interior is clean
and hasn't been smoked in. It also has a nice sounding Pioneer CD
player in it.
Also, this is the heavy duty model with
the big Dana 55 front axle, and the beefy Sterling rear. However, it
rides smooth, and is a nice driving truck. I would put a load behind it and drive it anywhere
period.
Bottom line, these nice ones are tough to find,
and with the low miles this truck will last a long time. |
