Very desirable 1995 F350 crew cab 1
ton 4x4. This is hands down the nicest one of these I have ever had.
It has only had 2 adult owners. It has nice original paint on a
very straight, 100% Rustfree California body. It is a fully loaded
XLT model, featuring a strong fuel injected 460, nice shifting overdrive
automatic, cold A/C, Tilt, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power
mirrors, rear Anti-lock brakes, Cruise control, Dual tanks etc. It
also has a Class III receiver hitch, with an electric brake controller.
Now comes the
good stuff.
It has the perfect
crew cab stance, riding on a 6" professional lift, Rancho adjustable
shocks, and nice 35" BFG's.
The 460 is smooth and strong with
high dollar Doug Thorley stainless headers, a K&N air filter, and
FlowMaster muffler. The overdrive automatic has a
Banks transmission controller. It also has a nice matching Leer
camper shell. It has a massive 12k lb Warn winch housed behind a
cool stainless winch bumper. It also has stainless Smittybilt side
steps and stainless rear bumper. All the additional driving and
back-up lights work. Even the side exterior grab handles are
lighted.
The
interior is very clean for its age. We installed a new headliner.
It has a very nice sounding Sony AM/FM/CD system, with amps under the
rear seat and a single sub woofer in an enclosure behind the rear seat.
It also has a CD changer. This is not some BS kids stereo,
but a professional sound system.
Back to the
F350 and what makes them so awesome. These are true heavy duty
trucks with all of Fords best
heavy duty
parts, including
the bullet proof straight axle Dana 60 front axle,
and the Sterling Limited Slip (Posi) rear axle with 4.10 gears.
The 4.10's are perfect for 35" tires and an overdrive. I love the
460 in these trucks. Great power, and drivability. In 95
they kicked the diesels a$$.
Again, this
truck is an absolute pleasure to drive.
The brakes stop nice, and the suspension is tight.
The exhaust sounds great. Everything works on this truck, cold
A/C, Cruise, all PW, and Locks, etc.
These was the last and best of the 80 - 96/97 era.
And arguably the best F350's Ford ever built. Heavy duty,
yet still relatively easy to work on. Decent fuel economy with all
the power to tow anything. In my opinion this truck is a whole lot
cooler than a new $80,000 plus F350 crew cab. This truck will keep
appreciating while the new one depreciates.
This is a no excuses hop in and
drive heavy duty 4x4. Put 10,000 lbs behind her and hit the road. |
