1972 GMC K20 factory 3/4 ton. Rustfree from California.
This 4x4 has the very rare and desirable Sierra Grande Package. That
was GMC's top of the line trim package. The Sierra Grande package
included: a hounds tooth seat cover, wood grain interior trim accents,
chrome shift levers, stainless trim around the windows & pedals, extra sound
deadening & padding, etc. Also, 1972 is the most refined and most
desirable year of the 67 - 72 body style. This one was purchased from
the original owner. It has never been cut, lifted, or abused. It
is getting very tough to find this caliber of original 4x4's anymore.
This 4x4 features a rebuilt 350, 350AT, HD205 transfer case, and the big hub
front axle. It is also well equipped with factory options including:
tilt wheel, limited slip rear axle, sliding rear window, power steering,
power disc brakes, front tow hooks, etc. It also has the rare
wood bed floor. It has dealer installed A/C. This truck also
comes with some neat original documentation including the owners manuals and protecto
plate.
The hounds tooth seat cover, dash pad, carpet, gauge bezel, and sill plates
are all new. The upper and lower exterior trim, and exterior emblems
are also new. This 4x4 has a nice original look
to it. The paint is presentable, but it needs a new paint job to be
excellent all the way around. The engine and
transmission are strong. The suspension, brakes, and exhaust are all
sound. Overall this truck is in nice mechanical condition, and
could be driven anywhere. Those of you who watch my site on a regular
basis know how few of the 67 -72 4x4's I am able to locate any longer. |
