One of a kind! 1978
K5 GMC "Jimmy" with the Top-of-the-Line "High Sierra" trim. This Jimmy
only has 76,330 miles on a straight, 100% rustfree, original paint
California body. The only real dent it has is on the front of the
drivers fender.
This High Sierra Jimmy is
well optioned, and has some very rare options. For starters it has the
very desirable, and hard to find, four speed manual transmission, factory
tachometer, and a factory rear mounted roll bar. This is the only K5 I
have ever had where a roll bar is listed on the option list. Other
options include: A/C, limited slip rear, 3.73 axles, 31 gallon fuel tank,
skid plates, etc.
It is very original, but
does have a nice looking 4" lift with quad Rancho shock all the way around,
and nice 33/12.5/15 tires. It also has a class III receiver hitch on
the rear.
The interior is very
nice. The front seats have been recovered. The dash pad is
perfect, and the carpet up front is still nice. It has a nice sounding
old school Kenwood 2 knob stereo.
I just put over 100 miles
on her and she runs and drives awesome. There aren't many original
survivors like this one left out there. It also has the original books
and manuals. You wont be disappointed.
You will enjoy the pics.
Original survivors don't get much nicer than this. |
