Very nice 1999 GMC K1500 1/2 ton
Suburban, with the Top-of-the-Line "SLT" trim. With the crazy
prices of new Suburbans, these have become very popular with my Rustfree
customers. We have been getting more requests for them, and they
have been selling well. They are still pretty basic as for as
working on them goes, but in a lot of ways are the best Suburbans GM
made. This is a nice example. The body is very straight, and
100% rustfree from California. The original paint is also
very nice. It only has 194k miles, which is actually low for
Suburbans of this age from out west. They like to drive there
vehicles. This is a fully loaded "SLT" featuring the bullet proof
fuel injected "Vortec" 350, nice shifting overdrive automatic, cold
front & rear A/C, ABS, PW, PDL, tilt, cruise, rear defroster, P Seats,
Overhead & floor consoles, nice sounding factory AM/FM/CD/Cassette
stereo, class III trailer hitch, Etc. It also has
push button 4x4, with auto 4x4 and a "posi" limited slip rear axle.
It also has 3.73 axle gears which are a perfect compromise for towing
versus economy.
It has nice factory alloy wheels,
with
nice factory sized 245x75x16 Michelin tires. Mechanically, the brakes are
nice, the suspension is tight, and the exhaust is sound. It
has very nice leather interior. We installed new true leather seat
bottoms. It only light soiling of the carpet. It sits a total of 8 passengers,
with bucket seats up front and two rear bench seats. It has
the original factory floor mats front and rear. It also has the
factory manuals.
As I stated the body is 100%
rustfree, very straight, and the paint is very nice.
Overall this is an absolute no
excuses, strong running,
nice
looking, and driving 4x4 Suburban, that is ready to be put into
service. This one sure beats paying $80kfor a new one.
I wouldn't be afraid to hop in and drive it cross country. |
