The smaller
SUV's have started to gain some traction in the classic 4x4 market.
We have had good success with the small Bronco II's and S10 Blazers.
This is our first foray in the Jeep Cherokee "XJ" market. Bottom
line, it is hard to find clean survivor classic Jeeps. This a very
clean 1993 Cherokee "Country" edition. It is the desirable and
hard to find 2 door model. The best part it only has 100k actual
miles.
This Cherokee features it's
original paint on a very straight 100% Rustfree California body.
It has just the right mix of options. Starting with the bullet
proof 4.0 HO inline 6 cylinder, overdrive automatic, and manual floor
shifted 4x4 system. Other options include: Tilt, Cruise, A/C, full
gauges with tachometer, and rear wiper, etc. It also has a very
clean set of the factory "Snow Flake" alloys with new 235/75/15 All
Terrain tires.
The interior is very clean as
well, and features comfortable bucket seats with a center console.
We installed a new headliner. We also had a new windshield, and
fuel pump assembly.
The 4.0 HO engines really run
strong. I was surprised. I have driven a number 4.3 S10
Blazers over the years, and this Jeep would run circles around them.
Plus the Cherokee XJ's still have solid front axles, so they are very
strong and capable off road, with good ground clearance.
As mentioned this is our first
small Jeep. As I am so prone to saying, If you have been watching
and waiting for something like this, don't drag your feet on it. |
